- The anime will also be broadcast in the Indian subcontinent, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
- The anime will be directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, written by Sayuri Oba, and feature voice actors Takeo Otsuka and Satoshi Hino.

As part of the announcement, the first teaser trailer and image were released to offer a sneak peek at the beginning of Gongja Kim. He lives an insignificant life as a low-ranked hunter, looking up to others who made it to the top. There is a mysterious card floating above him, emitting light, while the Sword Emperor observes him from behind.
Gongja Kim’s Japanese voice actor is Takeo Otsuka, and the Sword Emperor’s is Satoshi Hino.
Hiroaki Sakurai directs the anime with character designs by Takahiro Yoshimatsu, and STUDIO fu produces it
According to the official plot, a tower appears, infested with various monsters, and lures Hunters with promises of fame and fortune. However, Gongja Kim, a puny F-rank Hunter, dreams of becoming the Flame Emperor, the best of the hunters. Gongja Kim gets his chance when he teams up with the Sword Emperor and acquires an S-rank skill, but only if he dies..
