It was a very good weekend to be Disney. Across two separate Emmy ceremonies this past weekend, The Walt Disney Company racked up an impressive haul of wins spanning Disney+, ABC, Hulu, FX, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar, and Disney Branded Television. From beloved animated series to live action adventures set in a galaxy far, far away, Disney properties dominated the conversation in a big way. And the biggest Emmy night of the year, the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony on September 14, is still to come.

Here is a full look at what the company brought home.
Children’s and Family Emmy Awards: 22 Wins and Most in the Industry
Disney absolutely cleaned up at the 4th Annual Children’s and Family Emmy Awards, taking home 22 trophies and earning more wins overall than any other company in the industry. Coming in with 103 nominations across 52 competitive categories, the results were a remarkable sweep of some of Disney’s most celebrated recent programming.
The two biggest performers of the night each walked away with five wins.
Descendants: The Rise of Red was a five time winner, taking home Outstanding Fiction Special, Outstanding Art Direction and Set Decoration, Outstanding Hairstyling and Makeup, Outstanding Original Song, and Outstanding Choreography. The Disney+ musical movie has already been a fan favorite, and these wins cemented its place as one of the most acclaimed Disney productions of the year.
Win or Lose, Pixar’s groundbreaking animated series, also took home five awards including Outstanding Children’s or Young Teen Animated Series, Outstanding Writing for an Animated Series for the episode “Pickle,” Outstanding Directing for an Animated Series for the episode “Home,” Outstanding Editing for an Animated Series, and a juried prize for Individual Achievement in Animation. The show has been widely praised as some of Pixar’s most emotionally rich work in years, and the Emmy recognition is well deserved.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew from Lucasfilm had another strong night with wins including Outstanding Young Teen Series, Outstanding Visual Effects, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Live Action Program. The Jude Law led adventure series clearly left a major impression on Emmy voters.
Additional wins went to A Real Bug’s Life (two wins), along with single wins each for BUNK’D: Learning the Ropes, Dream Productions, Rise Up Sing Out, RoboGobo, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man from Marvel Animation.
The ceremony was held in New York City and also included a Lifetime Achievement Award presented to the legendary Bill Nye.
Creative Arts Emmy Awards: Disney Properties Win Across Multiple Nights
Over at the 78th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Disney’s broader portfolio also made its presence felt.
The Muppet Show on Disney+ was one of the standout performers, earning four Emmy wins including Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special, Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special, and Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming. It is wonderful to see the Muppets still earning Emmy recognition after all these years.
Over on ABC, Jimmy Kimmel Live! picked up a win for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series.
Hacks on Hulu continued its awards season dominance with multiple wins including Outstanding Picture Editing for a Single Camera Comedy Series, reaffirming why the Jean Smart led comedy is one of the most celebrated shows on television right now.
And The Bear on FX added to its already legendary awards run with a win for Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (Half-Hour), proving once again that the show is simply on another level when it comes to craft.
The Best Is Still to Come
With the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony still ahead on September 14, Disney has even more opportunities to add to what is already a very impressive 2026 awards haul. ABC, Hulu, FX, and Disney+ all received a combined total of 125 Emmy nominations going into this season, so there are plenty more chances for wins on the biggest night of the television awards calendar.
All in all, it was a weekend that reminded everyone why Disney’s creative output across all of its studios and platforms continues to set the standard in the industry. Congratulations to every cast and crew member who took home a trophy!
