Natalie Portman’s bevy is growing.
Nearly five months after she revealed her pregnancy, the Black Swan actress and her boyfriend Tanguy Destable have welcomed their first baby together, according to multiple outlets.
In April, Portman—also mom to son Aleph, 15, and daughter Amalia, 9, with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied—shared the exciting news of her pregnancy, revealing everything was going swimmingly.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” the 45-year-old told Harper’s Bazaar. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”
As the daughter of a fertility doctor, Portman noted that she “grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” sharing that she’s had “so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well.”

The Star Wars alum emphasized that while fertility journeys are “such a beautiful, joyous thing,” they’re also “not an easy thing.”
As such, she felt quite lucky, Portman noted, sharing, “I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”
And while the Oscar winner has largely kept her relationship with Destable out of the spotlight, their romance was on display during a rare public date night in August.
For the outing, Portman—who was first linked to the French musician in March 2025—showed off her growing baby bump in a blue and white striped dress paired with a patterned blue shawl, while her man donned khaki pants and a cream jacket.
For the Thor actress, life in Paris has been trés sweet. “There’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around that makes the experience so beautiful every day,” she detailed to Harper’s Bazaar. And knowing this pregnancy is likely her last, she added, “I cherish every moment.”
That means, “I try and do some kind of physical activity every day,” Portman recently Elle. “I either swim or walk, and do gyrotonics. I’m still vegan. I take lots of vitamins. I try and sleep as much as possible.”
And she’s found the silver lining in having to avoid certain beverages. “Being pregnant is almost like a cleanse because you don’t drink and can’t have caffeine,” Portman shared. “So I’m like, ‘Wow, I’ve never been cleaner in my life.’”
But while she’s sticking to those guidelines, she hasn’t stressed herself out over brushing up on baby books. “You figure it out,” she reasoned to Harper’s Bazaar. “We’re going to make lots of mistakes, no matter how hard we try. And also, we’re going to do a lot right without having to do research. I feel like if you’re just present and loving, that’s the best thing possible.”
