The Nashville Derby offers a $3 million purse, making it Kentucky Downs’ richest race and the second-richest for three-year-olds in the country behind the Kentucky Derby’s $5 million.
The base purse for the 2026 Nashville Derby is $1.75 million plus a $1.25 million purse enhancement reserved for Kentucky-breds, that’s been provided by the Kentucky Thoroughbred Development Fund.
