A new Nintendo Direct presentation will air next week on September 9, Nintendo just announced. This will be taking place at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM in the UK / 4 PM in Europe.
The event will be approximately 45 minutes long, focusing on titles releasing during the winter. Further details were not provided.
We also know that following the Direct, Nintendo Treehouse: Live will air to show. This will feature “gameplay of select titles featured during the Nintendo Direct.”
Right now Nintendo has a massive question mark surrounding one of its final games for 2026. Of course, we’re talking about the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. The game was announced for Nintendo Switch 2 back in June, but we saw very little of it and still don’t know when it’s actually coming out.
A presentation will be happening a day prior for The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary which should answer all questions – you can find more information about that event here.
This should also be an opportunity for Nintendo to touch on the lineup for Switch 2 during the first half of 2026. So far Xenoblade Genesis and Pokemon Winds / Waves are the only titles confirmed for next year.
Here’s where you’ll be able to watch the upcoming presentations:
Direct Live Stream
Treehouse: Live live stream
We’ll have plenty of Nintendo Direct coverage for you both during the broadcast and after it ends. You’ll be able to keep track of everything throughout the day right here.
