Fortnite OG Season X Is Now Live

Fortnite OG Season X is now live, taking players back to the final season of Chapter 1.

The Zero Point is now suspended above Loot Lake. Players who enter the area around it will experience low gravity.

Dusty Depot has also returned to its original form, with all three warehouses back and the crater gone.

The Meteor is floating above the Island again. Players can land directly on it and explore it during a match.

The Devourer’s skeleton has returned northwest of Salty Springs at the location where it was defeated by Mecha Team Leader.

Rift Zones have returned in Season X and can change locations around the map.

One of the first is located south of Paradise Palms and takes players into Pandora.

While inside Pandora, players who avoid taking damage for a few seconds will automatically regenerate shields.

More Rift Zones and map changes are expected to appear during the season as the OG Island continues to change.

B.R.U.T.E. mechs are back in Fortnite OG.

The mechs can drop onto the map early in a match and their locations will be marked for players.

Two players can use one mech at the same time. One player controls its movement, jumps and stomps while the other uses the shotgun and missile launcher.

Materials can also be used to temporarily increase the mech’s defenses.

Players can still operate a B.R.U.T.E. alone by switching between the driver and gunner seats.

Several Season X items have returned with the update.

The Automatic Sniper Rifle is available again alongside the B.R.U.T.E.

The Junk Rift has also returned. When thrown, it opens a rift above the targeted area and drops a large object onto players below.

Glitched Foraged Items have returned as well.

Epic also confirmed several more items that will return later in the season, including the Tactical Submachine Gun, Shield Bubble, Zapper Trap and Spicy Taco.

A number of weapons and items were vaulted for the start of Season X.

• Flint-Knock Pistol
• Shadow Bomb
• Air Strike
• Mounted Turret
• Tactical Assault Rifle
• Glider Redeploy consumable

Most vehicles have also been removed from the loot pool.

The Driftboard is the main exception and remains available in Fortnite OG.

Season X also introduces a new OG Pass.

Players can earn XP across Fortnite to level up the pass and unlock three new outfits:

• Oxide
• Ultima King
• Kinetic Catalyst

The skins are new versions of cosmetics inspired by the original Chapter 1 Season X Battle Pass.
