Just announced by Aggro Crab (PEAK, Another Crab’s Treasure) is the insanely cool looking Rebounder.
What exactly is it? Rebounder is a precision-platformer that draws inspiration from vintage sci-fi comics, zines, and the world of physical print. Also made as a love-letter to games like speedrunners to provide a fast-paced challenge but remain approachable to different types of gamers.
From the press release sent to GamingOnLinux: when the team at ThirtyThree showed Rebounder to Aggro Crab, they were hooked. People who are a fan of Aggro Crab’s work will feel right at home with the fast-paced gameplay and unique style that make Rebounder stand out. “It’s been awesome working with Aggro Crab. They totally understand our vision for the game, and as fellow devs, they know the subtleties of getting it right.” said Logan Gilmour, a co-founder of ThirtyThree.

In the same email to GamingOnLinux, Aggro Crab also noted they’re taking on more indie developers looking for publisher support.
“PEAK’s success put us in a unique position. We weren’t really interested in significantly growing the size of our team, but we were interested in growing our catalog.” said Corey Warning, Head of Publishing at Aggro Crab. “We like to be hands-on with the projects we’re working with, we can offer some unique perspectives and feedback to games from our background as indie developers and our experience self-publishing. We’ve also grown a massive community over the years who trust our approach to how we make and promote our own games.”
Aggro Crab are looking for projects that need $500k or less to get across the finish line inside of 2 years or less, and are prioritizing intense, stylized games with an attitude. “We don’t have any specific genres we’re locked into, we’re generally looking for games that fit the vibe of the Aggro Crab catalog, and stuff that we think will resonate well with our audience. And no generative AI slop.”
