9th Annual Meadowlark Comic Con at Rogue X

MEDFORD, Ore.-This weekend, Rogue X was full of pop culture and entertainment for the 9th annual Meadowlark Comic Con.
This year, Meadowlark featured nearly 100 vendors, a handful of voice actors, comic artists, and local cosplayers.
Organizers say roughly 4 to 5 thousand fans attended to grab some gear, meet the voice behind some of their favorite characters, and catch up with other fans.
“Meadowlark Comic Con means a whole lot to people out here because it’s a place where they can freely express themselves and be themselves. Even if you don’t want to be yourself and you want to be someone else for the day, like Spider-Man, you can do that too. Meadowlark gets bigger and bigger, and it just means more people having fun, more people getting together. There are people here that meet new friends or there are people from out of state that come here, and they meet friends here, and every year they come back, and they always get together,” said Dave Haworth, the president of business operations for the con.
