    26 Dynamic Duos in Pop Culture that Couldn't Stand the Test of Time

    Well, this was a tough one to get through. And we woke up in such a good mood too!

    That’s the gig sometimes, ya know? Sometimesthe Cracked higher-upstask us with not-so-pleasant lists like breakups or destroyed careers,because they’ve noticed that those seem to get a solid chunk of readers. So really, when you think about it, this is all your fault! You’re here for the misery,and we sensitive souls have to satiate that thirst.

    We love dynamic duos because they play so well off of each other and seem like they’re having a blast. It’s hard to hear that the “blast” they were having was some really good acting by the end of their run, but they had some good years, didn’t they?!

    You breakup lovers take a look at this one while we find facts about their good years. No one will read it, but it’ll brighten our day for sure.

    26. Laverne & Shirley

    CRACKED PENNY MARSHALL & CINDY WILLIAMS The Laverne & Shirley characters may have been besties, but Williams was unhappy with the network's choices for her character, and jealous of Marshall's popularity. She left the show, the ratings plummeted, and their relationship was non-existent for quite a while.

    Star Trek's leads feuded throughout The Original Series. And Shatner kept stealing Nimoy's bicycle. When William Shatner started insisting that some of Spock's smarter lines go to Captain Kirk, his relationship with Leonard Nimoy became heated.     GRACKED CHEECH MARIN & TOMMY CHONG Cheech wrote that Chong wanted most of the creative control, so the friendship faded and Cheech went on to solo work. There was still animosity when they reunited, and they've said another movie is highly unlikely.

    19. EPMD

    Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith of EPMD. : CLOU In 1991, Smith's home was robbed, and Sermon was named as the orchestrator. Sermon denied it but implied that Smith "had it coming." Soon after they split in 1992, people shot up Sermon's house. After all this, they reunited for "Back in Business" in 1997. CRACKED

    The Everly Brothers After 20 successful years, Don Everly got so drunk at a show in 1973, that he couldn't remember the lyrics to their most popular songs.     Axl Rose And Slash Glyce Slash claimed that before a show, Axl refused to go onstage until the band agreed to sign away their rights to the band's name. Specifically, Jack hated that Meg would keep quiet during interviews (due to crippling anxiety).

She didn't show up to work the day she found out, and when she did show back up, things were so tense that Strahan ducked out earlier than planned.

As their collective star rose, Cuoco mistook that for personal success, and reportedly became a bit of a diva. She lost her biggest champion, costar Johnny Gilecki, after she cashed in on their breakup by indulging all the tabloids.

    2. Fred & Ethel

    Fred & Ethel I LOVE LUCY CRACKED.COM William Frawley had beef with... well, pretty much everyone on I Love Lucy. Vivian Vance caught the brunt of it, having to appear on screen with him most of the time. Vance once called him a "coot" who was too old to play her husband. Не, in turn, hit her with the greatest burn in history, calling her "an old sack of doorknobs."
