Thought Bubble publish “What To Expect” Guide for upcoming comic-filled weekend
Team Thought Bubble have released a guide to the upcoming Thought Bubble Comic Convention 2026 in Harrogate for those who are Autistic, have anxiety, sensory issues, access needs or generally just like to know what to expect.
This special guide, available to download here (direct PDF link here) talks you through the layout of the convention centre, along with what you will find, feel or see.
The aim is to give you all the information in one place so you can pick out what you need to attend our convention comfortably.
“We’ve been working on a What to Expect guide for a little while,” says Thought Bubble Festival Director Chloë Green. “A daunting task when there is so much to cover! But, after attending an event last week where I had a very rough time in the lead up to it through their lack of info, I was spurred to finish it in the hopes it helps someone.
“The guide is for people who are Autistic, have anxiety, sensory issues, access needs or generally just like to know what to expect, it covers what you might see, feel or hear, and a whole lot more. Pick out what you need for you and yours groups needs!
“I would love to see more like this from more organisations (pubs, cafes, festivals, conventions, gigs, everywhere),” Chloë suggests. “It doesn’t need to be a huge document, an additional line or two can make so much difference for access.
