An interesting tidbit has come to light about Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, as it’s been revealed that Logicalbeat worked on the game.
Monolith Soft, the team behind the original game, was involved as well. That said, it looks like Logicalbeat had a hand in getting the title to run at 60 frames per second and at 4K.
Yoshiki Domae, the representative director of Logicalbeat, shared the news on social media. RPG Site has the following translation:
Publishing an accomplishment from my company, logicalbeat!
We were involved in cooperating with the support of 4K & 60fps for Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition’s Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
I myself also replayed it from the beginning. The Ether Jet also feels so good.
Who is Logicalbeat, you ask? Most prominently, the group worked on Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 HD Remaster, which previously released on Nintendo Switch.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition are also on the way. It’s not currently clear if Logicalbeat worked on those titles as well, but it’s certainly a possibility.
It was actually just revealed yesterday what additions are planned for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. In case you missed it, we have full details here.
