This WNBA postseason has been anything but predictable. The playoff semifinals are here, and the No. 2 Valkyries and No. 3 Aces are set to battle it out for a bid to the title series.
The Valkyries are entering their first-ever semifinal round as an expansion team, continuing to make history in just the franchise’s second year. Golden State was pushed to a Game 3 by Paige Bueckers and the Wings, but were able to seal the deal with a 77-73 win on Friday night.
The world knew better than to doubt A’Ja Wilson. Despite also getting pushed to a decisive Game 3, the Aces were able to overcome Caitlin Clark and the No. 6 Fever in the first round. Wilson, a four-time league MVP, is looking as strong as ever as her squad continues their back-to-back championship campaign.
