Welcome to your weekly look ahead at what’s coming to Netflix UK over the next seven days! As we wave goodbye to August and welcome in September, Netflix is delivering an absolutely massive week of content. Between the traditional first-of-the-month drop of licensed movies, the highly anticipated return of Guy Ritchie’s action-comedy series, and a slew of classic sitcoms and dramas, there is plenty to add to your watchlist.

Best New Shows and Movies Coming to Netflix This Week

The Gentlemen (Season 2)

Guy Ritchie is back! After a hugely successful first season, the hit action-comedy series returns to Netflix for its highly anticipated second outing. Theo James and Kaya Scodelario are back as the aristocratic Duke of Halstead and the ruthless glass-ceiling-smashing gangster who together control a massive, underground weed empire. Expect more stylishly shot violence, fast-talking British gangsters, and plenty of double-crossing, and don’t forget, season 3 is already coming up, with filming set to begin soon. 

Nine to Five (1980)

Before you dive into the massive first-of-the-month drop on Tuesday, close out your August with an absolute comedy classic. Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton star as three working women who are fed up with their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot of a boss (Dabney Coleman). When they mistakenly believe they’ve poisoned his coffee, their wild revenge fantasies accidentally become reality. It’s the first time the movie has been back on Netflix in over a decade and comes as the actress and singer died at the age of 80 last week. 

Driven (Seasons 1-3)

Fans of steamy, emotional romance won’t want to miss this one. Adapted from K. Bromberg’s bestselling novel series, this Passionflix original makes its way to Netflix in its entirety. The series follows Rylee Thomas (Olivia Grace Applegate), a dedicated social worker trying to heal from past trauma, whose structured life is turned upside down when she crosses paths with Colton Donavan (Michael Roark)—a reckless, charming, and damaged bad-boy race car driver. What follows is an intense, passionate love story packed with undeniable chemistry and high-stakes drama both on and off the track.
