Aug. 3 (UPI) –Disney+ is giving a final glimpse of the new series Star Wars: Visions Presents – The <a href="https://comicvibe.com/final-trailer-for-star-wars-visions-the-ninth-jedi-spin-off-series/” title=”Final Trailer for 'Star Wars: Visions – The Ninth Jedi' Spin-Off Series”>Ninth Jedi.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the show Monday featuring Chinatsu Akasaki and Kimiko Glenn as the Japanese and English voices of protagonist Lah Kara, respectively.
The Ninth Jedi is an eight-episode limited anime series from Production I.G. that continues the story of Kara, first introduced in the Star Wars: Visionsepisodes The Ninth Jedi and The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope.
The show follows Kara as she “continues to train in the ways of the Jedi under Margrave Juro amid an epic journey of self-discovery as she and Juro’s small fellowship of Jedi-in-training embark on a quest to save her father,” according to an official synopsis.
Kara is a Force-sensitive Jedi-in-training who is the daughter of Lah Zima, the only known sabersmith in the galaxy. Lah Zhima. Like her father, Kara is able to wield a silver lightsaber.
Other voice cast members include Tetsuo Kanao (JP) and Andrew Kishino (EN) as Margrave Juro, Hiromu Mineta (JP) and Masi Oka (EN) as Ethan, Shinichiro Miki (JP) and Simu Liu (EN) as Lah Zhima and Young Mazino as General Nawaam.
Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi premieres in its entirety Wednesday on Disney+ and Hulu.
