Aug. 12 (UPI) — Prime Video is gearing up for the release of the new series Neagley.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the show Wednesday featuring Maria Sten.
Neagley is a spinoff of Reacher, the Prime Video series starring Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, a vigilante and former U.S. Army police officer who appears in the book series by author Lee Child.
The new series sees Sten reprise her Reacher character of Frances Neagley, a private investigator and former member of Reacher’s special investigations unit, who is seen investigating the death of a friend and a sinister cult in the spinoff.
“Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil,” an official synopsis reads.
Other cast members include Greyston Holt as Det. Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole, with Ritchson to guest star as Reacher.
Neagley Season 1 consists of eight episodes and will premiere Sept. 16 on Prime Video following the Reacher Season 4 finale.
