Image Comics has announced an intriguing new project arriving this fall: Ghost Drive Station, a graphic novella that promises to blend gritty noir mystery with high-stakes cosmic horror. The book brings together the creative forces of New York Times bestselling writer Warren Ellis (Trees, Transmetropolitan, Castlevania) and Grammy-nominated artist and designer Lordess Foudre (Color Theory, Trashumanism, Kasablanca).
Set for release on Wednesday, November 18, Ghost Drive Station follows a haunted investigator—a complex protagonist described as having a True Detective season-one sensibility—who is tasked with uncovering why a remote research station in the desert has suddenly gone offline. As he investigates, he stumbles into a disturbing experiment in immortality gone wrong, pushing the story into the realm of cosmic terror reminiscent of EventHorizon and Backrooms.
The graphic novella explores the intersection of death and the digital age, offering a narrative that is both globally significant and intensely personal.
