Marvel has published the full release schedule for VisionQuest, revealing an early premiere for Episode 1.
The Vision (Paul Bettany) and Ultron-led (James Spader) Disney+ show’s rollout plan materialized on Marvel Studios social media channels today – and it came with a bit of a surprise. Instead of starting its offshoot story on October 14 as originally planned, VisionQuest Episode 1 will arrive tomorrow, October 13, at 6pm PT / 9pm ET.
It’s a one-day-early premiere that Marvel waited to announce until today, and it came with more specific information about the full release plan, too. Those hoping to keep up with VisionQuest can expect two episodes each week until its penultimate episode arrives alone November 3, with the eighth and final episode then arriving one week after that. You can see the full breakdown below.
VisionQuest Teaser at D23 2026
VisionQuest Release Schedule
Episode 1: “No Strings” and Episode 2: “Theseus” – October 13
Episode 3: “Reboot” and Episode 4: “Malware” – October 20
Episode 5: “Firewall” and Episode 6: “Deadlock” – October 27
Episode 7: “Immolation” – November 3
Episode 8: “Forever” – November 10
“Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponize him, has been in hiding,” an official synopsis for the show says. “Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis, and the infamous Ultron. His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s son, reincarnate.”
VisionQuest will wrap up the WandaVision trilogy through the course of the next few weeks. It should provide a nice distraction as Marvel Cinematic Universe fans await the next big event film, Avengers: Doomsday, December 18, 2026.
The MCU will then gear up for a quiet year as it works to conclude the Multiverse Saga with Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be anything to watch in the months between. While we wait to see how Vision’s (mostly) standalone story will flesh out the universe, you can check out IGN’s list of 10 streaming shows to keep an eye on in October. You can also check out everything we saw at the Marvel Television and Animation panel at New York Comic Con 2026.
