A government Circuit House in Rourkela, Odisha, has come under scrutiny after an old video featuring ‘adult’ film actor and social media personality Tina Nandi resurfaced online.
In the video, adult star Tina Nandi can be seen speaking about her stay at the Rourkela Circuit House on December 1, last year. In the video Tina claimed that she had received special treatment during her visit.
The video has now prompted police to investigate how the accommodation was arranged and whether the prescribed procedure for allotting rooms at the government facility was followed.

The individuals have been questioned about who recommended the accommodation and whether due process was followed. Police said the investigation was ongoing.
Tina Nandi’s video shows her travelling from Jharsuguda airport to Rourkela in a luxury Audi. She can be heard saying in the video that a company CEO was coming to receive her and that she was in the city for what she described as a major project.

She also showed her followers the room in which she was staying at the Circuit House and spoke about the facility being used by senior government officials. Police are verifying the circumstances surrounding these claims.
The investigation has also looked into the vehicle used by Nandi. Policele at the request of a senior official of a private company in Rourkela
The circumstances surrounding both her transportation and accommodation are being examined as part of the inquiry.
According to reports, Nandi had travelled to Rourkela in connection with a promotional project involving Gehana Trade Gold Private Limited.
In a long video, Tina said: “The owner/CEO of the company is coming himself to receive me in his Audi.”
LatestLY reported that she said she had visited the city for a promotional project for the company. Police are also examining the circumstances in which the private commercial engagement was connected to her stay at the government facility.
The Circuit House itself has specific eligibility and approval procedures. According to reports, senior government officers, ministers, MLAs, accredited journalists and other dignitaries are only entitled to stay at the circuit house, subject to approval from the concerned authorities.
The ongoing probe is therefore focused on whether Nandi’s accommodation was properly authorised.
The controversy comes shortly after another incident involving the same facility. In August, Rourkela Police arrested seven people and seized firearms from the government Circuit House.
Among those arrested was BJP youth leader Prakash Paswan, who had been associated with Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram. The BJP subsequently suspended Paswan.
