A new collectible toy store has opened in the city centre.
Pop Mart, the Chinese brand known for its “blind box” designer figurines and the wildly popular Labubu dolls, has launched its first full Sussex store at Churchill Square in Brighton.
The store opened on September 26 in the unit formerly occupied by H&M Kids.
The opening follows speculation after branded boarding appeared around the unit earlier this year.
A Pop Mart vending machine, known as a ‘Robo Shop,’ was also installed at The Entertainer in Churchill Square in March, offering shoppers a selection of blind-box toys.

Pop Mart has gained a huge following in recent years thanks to social media trends and celebrity endorsements.
The company launched in 2010 and is described by the Financial Times as being “credited with creating the market for so-called designer toys”.
It is best known for its Labubu dolls; fluffy monster characters that can be used as key rings or accessories.

Celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, and Rihanna have been spotted with the brand’s signature bag charms.
The opening marks Pop Mart’s first full retail presence in Sussex.
The Brighton store joins other locations including in London, Southampton, Reading, and Cambridge.
