Fortnite is coming to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights.
The franchise’s popular in-game Halloween event Fortnitemares will come to life in a new scare zone this year at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort.
Scare zones are themed, open air-areas where guests and scareactors roam freely, as opposed to enclosed haunted houses, where guests follow a set path.
“Guests will enter Freaky Fields, a Halloween-inspired living battleground overcome with a threatening force,” Universal said in a news release. “Throughout the scare zone, fans will encounter the Battle Bus along with familiar Fortnitemares characters – plus a few new additions exclusive to Halloween Horror Nights – as they work to escape and claim victory,”
This is the first time Fortnite has been featured at Universal’s fan-favorite after-hours event.
Halloween Horror Nights begins on Aug. 28 in Florida and Sept. 3 in California. It’s held on select nights through the fall.
What houses will be at Halloween Horror Nights?
So far, four intellectual property houses have been revealed for both coasts:
- Sinners
- Stranger Things
- Hellraiser
- Evil Dead Burn
Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Florida also have site-specific experiences.
How much does it cost to go to Halloween Horror Nights?Â
Halloween Horror Nights ticket prices vary by date.
Single-night tickets start at $87.99 this year at Universal Orlando. The past two years, they started at $82.99.
They start at $77 per person at Universal Studios Hollywood, the same as last year and the year prior.
