Udta Teer First Look Poster Out: Ayushmann Khurrana on a Top Secret Mission in Karan Johar’s Spy Comedy
After a series of spy actioners likePathaan, Tiger 3, War 2, Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge andAlpha,Hindi cinema is now venturing into Spy Comedies with Kunal Kemmu and Preity Zinta’s Vibe releasing on September 18, 2026.
It will be followed by another spy comedy titled Udta Teer and starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles.

Produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga after their previous collaborations like Kill, Gyaarah Gyaarahand The Lunchbox, Udta Teermarks directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik who is known for writing films like Bhooth Bangla, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Thank God, Housefull 4 among others.
Ahead of the film’s October release, the makers have treated fans and audience with the first look poster that features Ayushmann Khurrana between India and Pakistan on a Top Secret mission but has seemingly forgotten which country he was spying for.
Sharing the first look poster, Karan Johar’s Dharma Production wrote, “Deshbhakti toh yaad hai…par desh nahi. Get ready for unlimited chaos, confusion and action!”

Udta Teer features music by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It is slated to release in theatres on October 9, 2026, a week after Drishyam 3 and a week before the likes of Jailer 2, Prahaar and Nayyi Navelliamong others.
