Not one, but two Xbox exclusives have been confirmed for release next month on Nintendo Switch 2. One of these two upcoming games, the more noteworthy of the two, is Little Witch in the Woods, which just recently passed 500,000 copies sold. Developed by Sunny Side Up, this RPG debuted in 2022, in early access form, on PC and Xbox One. Now, four years later, it’s shedding its Xbox console exclusivity and also coming to Nintendo Switch. More specifically, on September 16, it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch, priced at $19.99. Two days before this, Truck-kun Is Supporting Me From Another World will arrive natively on the Nintendo Switch 2 at the same price. This vehicular action game debuted back on July 29, only on PC and Xbox Series X. So, it’s also shedding its Xbox console exclusivity for Nintendo fans.
Little Witch in the Woods
Little Witch in the Woods from developer Sunny Side Up is a witch life simulation RPG that does not have a Metacritic score, so the only insight into its quality is user reviews. To this end, on Steam it has a rating of 90, and on the Xbox Store it has 4/5 stars.
In the game, you play as a witch apprentice sent to a small nearby village to help said village and villagers. Do this, and you will be promoted to a formal witch.
The RPG life sim can be beaten in as little as 8 or 9 hours; however, this is without side content. Add in side content and the game is more like 25 to 30 hours. Meanwhile, completionists will need more like 35 to 40 hours with the witch game.
Truck-kun Is Supporting Me From Another World
Developed by Frosty Pop and Truck-kun Is Supporting Me From Another World released to a 69 on Metacritic, which is a pretty mediocre score, but perhaps a bit of an underrating because its user review score on Steam is 82
In the game, you play a truck driver whose life gets flipped upside down after you hit a woman, transporting her consciousness to a world of fantasy and magic. And now, you must help her on a surreal adventure back home.
Like most games from this specific genre, Truck-kun Is Supporting Me From Another World is a pretty short game, taking about three to seven hours to beat, depending on different variables like playstyle and completion rate.
Obviously, both of these Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games are still about a month out. While you wait for the middle of September, the Nintendo eShop did just get three new Nintendo Switch 2 games, all three of which are free for some.
