Every day, we are moving closer and closer to the Steam Frame release announcement, and if I’m being honest, I really wish it would come sooner rather than later. We are slowly getting there, though, and it seems more and more likely that this will happen relatively soon. On top of that, we got two new games that have been added to the “Great on Frame” store page, and it’s so nice to see

For those who may not know, the “Great on Frame” page is a spot on the Steam store that houses specific games that have received a compatibility rating of Playable or Verified for the Steam Frame. It’s similar to the landing page on the Steam Deck with the “Great on Deck” page. The page is still populating, very slowly, so it’s interesting to see which games are added and when. Now, there are two more games here, bringing the total up to 8, and they are both new VR games
Both Ancient Dungeon and Underdogs were both added to the page, and it’s great to see. Ancient Dungeon is a fast-paced roguelike dungeon crawler with procedurally generated dungeons, while Underdogs is a mech brawler roguelike where you will build your own mech to destroy other robots and become an overpowered killing machine
Both of these games were given the Steam Frame Verified badge, marking that both of them are completely compatible with the default controller configuration and graphical settings, it shows the correct controller icons, and the text is legible. On top of that, Ancient Dungeons uploaded its native Android version, which gives me even more confidence that it should run well as a standalone game
There’s no indication of when the announcement for the Steam Frame will drop, but it’s looking more and more like it’s going to happen very soon
