Tomorrow X Together’s Beomgyu was selected as the No. 1 K-pop star that international fans most want to travel with, according to fan-voting platform Picnic.
In the poll, which ran on the platform from Aug. 5 to 19, Beomgyu received 93,634 votes to take the top spot. BTS’s Jungkook came in second with 49,400 votes, followed closely by Ateez’s San with 48,856 votes.
Picnic attributed Beomgyu’s popularity to his appearances in travel and leisure videos on Tomorrow x Together’s YouTube channel. Many of the videos, which feature the boy band camping, going on casual picnics and traveling, have gone viral.

In the videos, Beomgyu shows a more natural side of himself as he hangs out with his fellow members, giving viewers the impression of watching close friends spend time together
“K-pop artists are at the forefront of naturally promoting tourism in Korea,” a Picnic spokesperson said.
“Everything that they show through social media and entertainment programs — from what food they eat and which places they visit to general Korean culture and activities — can encourage further tourism in Korea by connecting their everyday content with tourism.”
