TOHO animation, the anime label of Japanese entertainment company TOHO Co., Ltd., released a special video segment recapping its presence at Anime Expo 2026, which also featured the studio’s first collaboration with NIJISANJI EN talents.
The program premiered on TOHO animation’s official YouTube channel on August 15 and was hosted byShu YaminoandMeloco Kyoran, NIJISANJI EN talents. The VTubers guided viewers through highlights from Anime Expo 2026, held from July 2-5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The segment was presented with English audio and Japanese subtitles.
In the program, Yamino and Kyoran walked viewers through the convention floor with footage of the TOHO animation booth and the brand’s panel stage, which featured voice talent from several of its anime properties, includingMy Hero Academia,Jujutsu Kaisen,Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End,The Apothecary Diaries, andThough I Am an Inept Villainess.
The special also included commentary fromHana Hishikawa, who voicesLeeleeinThough I Am an Inept Villainessand made her first-ever convention panel appearance at the event. Hishikawa discussed the series and her character and answered questions from the hosts.
