We didn’t know we needed a One Piece x Jurassic Park collaboration, but here we are.

Who would win in a fight between a T-Rex and Monkey D. Luffy? That isn’t something that most manga fans have to wonder about, since Luffy has fought several dinosaurs over the long history of One Piece. Still, the image of him fighting his way through Jurassic Park in the new crossover artwork from Universal Studios Japan activates a very specific part of our brains’ joy centers.

The announcement came last week, with Universal Studios Japan releasing a new image of Luffy leaping through Jurassic Park alongside the iconic image of the T-Rex. The collaboration is to mark the 25th anniversary of the Osaka park, which already features a Jurassic Park area and the delightfully fun Super Nintendo World. Visitors to the park can now get the image plastered on mugs, shirts, and posters.

This is alongside the ongoing One Piece Premier Summer event at Universal Studios Japan, which includes a stage show, a boat ride, and the chance to visit Sanji’s Pirate Restaurant.

That isn’t the only way that Universal Studios Japan is celebrating anime at the moment. Detective Conan is also getting the Universal Studios treatment, with a fresh image of Conan and Hiroshi Agasa as Marty and Doc Brown of Back to the Future fame. Both images are a fun way to celebrate two of the most enduring and long-lasting manga series of all time.
