The Weeknd has set a new record for the highest-grossing tour by a male artist, with his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour generating more than $1.3 billion.
The tour concluded in Kuala Lumpur on November 5 after 176 shows across 67 cities, 30 countries and five continents. More than nine million tickets were sold during its four-year run, according to figures confirmed by tour promoter Live Nation.
The tour ranks third among the highest-grossing tours in history, behind Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” and Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres”. It surpassed Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, which grossed more than $939 million.
The Weeknd’s tour sold more than three million tickets and generated over $500 million in 2026 alone, according to the announcement.
The singer also contributed $8.5 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen during the tour. In 2026, $3 million was raised for the United Nations World Food Programme and Global Citizen, with the latter’s funding supporting initiatives focused on women’s and girls’ access to health, education and economic opportunities.
