“The Traitors” trio is complete, and some of them are already catching heat.
After the premiere cliffhanger on Sept. 17, the two original traitors decided which accomplice would join them in the shadows and which would meet their demise.
In episodes three and four of “New Blood,” which aired on Sept. 24, the faithful have begun to suspect two traitors amid a sea of mainly wrong theories. Meanwhile, the traitors started to find their groove and embrace their lovely, treacherous new family.
The new episodes concluded the show’s new twist: two players were selected as “accomplices” and competed against each other to be recruited as a traitor.
Here’s what to know about the latest episodes.
Who are the traitors? How many are there?
There are three traitors in “New Blood,” including Boston pilot Tomica Adams, New York funeral director Joe Vanella, and newly recruited Katie Fites, a Florida marketing manager.
Joe and Tomica selected two accomplices, Xavier Scruggs and Katie, who had to complete tasks and prove they had what it took to join the turret.
After Xavier threw Katie’s name around the Scottish castle, the traitors felt Katie would be more loyal and trustworthy to them. So Katie, 23, the youngest contestant on the cast, put on the green cloak and signed up for a game of deceit.
Who was murdered on ‘The Traitors’?
Xavier became the second person to be “murdered” on “The Traitors: New Blood.”
After the traitor initially eliminated Houston lawyer Kim Daily, Xavier soon joined her when he was not recruited as a traitor. When Tomica and Joe recruited Katie as a traitor, they also ended Xavier’s game.
The rest of the cast remained unaware that the ESPN analyst was hoping to join her.
In episode four, Logan Smith became the third person to be murdered. The traitors deemed him too big a threat to keep around, especially after he raised suspicion about Katie.
Who was banished on ‘The Traitors’?
Arisa Thomas was the second person to be banished at the traitors’ roundtable.
Her fellow faithful turned on her after she tried a lie-detection exercise: she held Victor Vollbrechthausen’s hand and asked him if he was a traitor while analyzing his demeanor. Niyyah Bilal Hayes found the interaction highly suspicious and theorized that Arisa may have been recruiting Victor as a traitor.
Michael Foote and Ben McDonnell also shared that they received a clue during the mission about a recruitment in plain sight, and hence sealing Arisa’s fate.
The faithful have not successfully banished a single traitor, though episode four ended on a cliffhanger at the roundtable.

What is ‘The Traitors: New Blood’?
Season 5, titled “The Traitors: New Blood,” is the first season to air on NBC.
The season name refers to how the series has welcomed 22 everyday Americans to play instead of the celebrities and reality TV alums that viewers are accustomed to.
When do new episodes of ‘The Traitors: New Blood’ drop?
New episodes premiere every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Each episode will stream on Peacock the next day.
Like the season premiere on Sept. 17, two episodes air on Sept. 23. New content usually drops at 6 a.m. ET/ 3 a.m. PT on the streaming platform.
