Munawar Faruqui evicted from The Traitors Season 2; calls contestants ‘insecure bunch’ for voting him out

The Traitors Season 2 has kicked off, and how! The first three episodes of the much-awaited season, hosted by Karan Johar, premiered on August 13, 2026, and it has already eliminated four out of the 21 contestants. Veteran actor Dalip Tahil, Karan Singh Magic, Munawar Faruqui and Harman Singha were among the first contestants to face elimination on the show. Following his eviction, comedian and rapper Munawar slammed his fellow contestants, claiming he was targeted and voted out in the opening episodes.
Munawar Faruqui was eliminated from The Traitors Season 2
The first three episodes of the reality series brought drama and deception as expected, as tensions rose at the first-ever circle of shaq of this season. While Munawar named actor Mallika Sherawat as his pick for the traitor, several contestants turned on Munawar, claiming he was playing like a traitor, and voted him out.
Upon his exit, the Bigg Boss 17 winner hit out at his fellow contestants. When host Karan Johar asked him to reveal whether he was a traitor or innocent, Munawar emotionally said, “F”’ off, guys! I was playing the game! I wanted to play it well! I am an innocent! F”’ off, insecure bunch of people. They thought I would eat them up here. They are all scared. Now recognise who is the one amongst you.”
Before the big reveal, Munawar was seen going to the centre of the room and saying, “I had expected this to happen to me. I knew I would have to face it. This often happens to me. It is not the first time. This is not the first time that I have been targeted.”
“Call me a soft target or someone too good to be there. I can clearly see through the insecurities of other people, and you will see how end up looking. Because your insecurities will be visible. You approached me as a friend and heard me out, but now you wrote my name here. Thank you for that,” he added.
Dalip Tahil and Karan Singh Magic also eliminated
Before Munawar, veteran actor Dalip Tahil, who made his reality TV debut with the show, became the first eviction on day 1. In the opening task, contestants were asked to secretly distribute gold coins among themselves. During the task, Dalip’s attempt to stand out led to him receiving the lowest share of gold coins and he was eliminated.
Meanwhile, on the first night, magician Karan Singh Magic became the traitors’ first murder victim. After Munawar’s elimination at the first circle of shaq, Harman Singha was voted out at the circle in episode three. Interestingly, Harman was a traitor, rightly identified by Abhishek Malhan, Parul Gulati, Rida Tharana, Shweta Tiwari, Ansh Chopra, Prish and Shalini Passi and others.
The real traitors in the game were Aaditya Kulshreshth, also known as Kullu, Krystle D’Souza and Harman Singha. Meanwhile, Shahneel Gill was recruited as the fourth traitor in the second episode. With four contestants eliminated out of the 21 participating ones, the show is now left with 17 contestants.
