Designed in Southern California, by a family of toymakers and educators, founder Dawne Yusi said, “We wanted to provide a character building experience that would provide more play value, more ownership, and more fun than other collectible.” CruffleNuts aren’t finished the moment their package is opened. CruffleNuts give people permission to play with possibilities, and the result is a fuzzy friend that a factory can’t replicate because the maker becomes part of the finished product. Each CruffleNut kit will come with everything you need to make two CruffleNuts and it’s designed for anyone who wants to get creating without a long learning curve.
CruffleNuts will launch on Kickstarter, September 20, 2026. The Kickstarter campaign will help the team at Nuts Like Us take CruffleNuts from its development stage to production and ultimately into the hands of makers everywhere. Maybe the next collectible craze won’t be about just getting another one. Maybe it will be about making the one that nobody else could have made but you.
