Does anyone else feel like we hit critical mass on superhero movies? There are so many annual releases that it feels impossible to keep up with all of them, and they all end looking and feeling the same. Growing up in the early 2000s, I was always excited for a new superhero movie because they felt special. They reminded you why you loved comic book heroes in the first place. That’s exactly how these new Air Jordan 4s make me feel. But much like your favorite superheroes, these kicks are flying off the Nike shelves and might disappear as fast as a Thanos snap.
Air Jordans are already iconic enough, but the 4s are on a whole other level. You know why? Because you can just say “4s” for basketball fans and sneakerheads to know exactly what you’re talking about, and it’s been almost 40 years since they dropped.
Every beautiful detail of these shoes pops out as hard as the action out of the panels and pages of your favorite comic books. Every caped crusader would be thrilled to have a pair, although I don’t recommend that you pair these with a cape. That is, unless you look great in a cape. In which case, you do you.
