The Collectibles: Pros and Cons
- Pokémon, football and basketball cards
- Sell or ship your pulls
- Buy cards directly in the marketplace
- Daily free packs available
- No live support
What is The Collectibles website?
This is a card-ripping, mystery packs platform. You can purchase Pokémon, football, or basketball mystery packs for $10 to $800. For each digital rip, you’ll get one card or graded slab. You can keep the card and have it shipped to you. If you don’t want the card, you can sell it back to the site instantly.
There aren’t any published percentages on the site, but our experience is that the buyback offers are around 85% of the card’s value, which is a fairly standard offer across mystery box and card-rip sites. If you’ve read our Repackz review, then you know their percentage is 90%, but they also charge a restocking fee of 6% that brings the offer to 84% of the value. As such, that’s close to what The Collectibles site offers.
In addition to buying and ripping mystery packs, you can also purchase cards directly in the onsite marketplace, use the “Scanner” to check on current card values, and watch packs being ripped live. We appreciate these features, because it gives the site a community feel rather than a commerce feels.
Can new collectors claim The Collectibles sign up bonus?
Yes, you can pick up The Collectibles bonus for new users, which is a free pack. Not only do you get this bonus immediately, you can claim a free pack every 24 hours.
The key here is that after you open your first pack, the countdown clock ticks off the 24 hours until you can open the next pack. Previously you had a four-hour window to claim your pack after it became available, but the site informed us that we had to claim it within eight hours. If you miss the window, you can’t claim a pack again until the next day. We recommend that you open your pack just as soon as the 24 hour countdown hits zero so that you don’t risk missing out on the bonus pack.
Are there other ways to collect bonuses?
Yes. This site also offers a free pack when you refer a friend who funds their account with $10 or more. You can collect your unique referral link inside your account.
Promo code offers may also be available from time to time. You can start by checking the banners on this page to see if there is a promo code available. Once you join the site, then keep an eye on your account, the email you used to join the site, and the site’s social media platforms. These are the places where you’re likely to pick up a promo code if one becomes available.
Be sure to check out our full bonus review to learn more about this brand’s offers, as well as to get tips for how to maximize them.
Is there a VIP or loyalty program?
No, the brand doesn’t offer a rewards program at this time. Since the platform is fairly new, we can speculate that they may roll one out in the future to be competitive with similar brands.
Review of The Collectibles website and user-experience
The site features a dark background, with some of the mystery packs providing color to the site. The site has a fun, futuristic “spy” theme throughout the design right down to the audio effects. The packs carry this theme with their labels, such as “Unmarked,” “Confidential” and “Classified” packs. Even the ripping experience provides the futuristic spy feel.
The site is thoughtfully laid out and easy to get around. Most everything you need is at the top of the site, including links to your account, funds balance, the packs you can buy and rip, cards you can purchase directly, live ripping, and the price scanner.
Is there an app available?
The site tells us that you can request “beta access” to the apps while the brand prepares to get these apps into the app stores. We discovered that the Android app is already available in the Google Play store. One advantage is that you only need Android iOS 7 or above, so this app works for those who have older phones.
You can use this app to rip packs, manage your pulls, scan prices, and buy items in the marketplace. We experienced slight lags with the app, so for now we recommend using the website. We suggest waiting until the next app update and/or until it goes out of beta release before you use either of the apps.

Review of The Collectibles mystery packs: What’s available to collectors?
This site features Pokémon, basketball and football packs for you to digitally rip open. The packs include cards and slabs. Tap any pack that interests you to get information about what’s inside. You’ll get info such as the floor value (value of the lowest card you could pull), the highest-value card in the pack, what types of cards are in each pack, and the chances of you pulling any specific card. We appreciate the transparency, as the inventory shows exactly what’s available.
Pokémon
There are six Pokémon packs that range in price from $10 for the “Unmarked, Zero Access” pack to the $800 “Classified, Scorched Earth” pack. An example of some of the cards available include those from Sword and Shield, Mega Evolution, Japanese Sun and Moon, Scarlet and Violet Prismatic Evolutions, Neo Revelation, Chrome Series 2, and more.
Examples of chasers in these packs include:
- 2005 Pokemon Master Kit Side Deck Japanese 1st Edition Holo Aura’s Lucario Ex #006 PSA 10
- 2003 Aquapolis English Holo (Hp 90) Arcanine #H2 BGS 9.5
- 2001 Pokemon Neo Revelation 1st Edition Holo Blissey #2 BGS 9.5 GEM MINT
There are plenty more chasers across the mystery packs, featuring both vintage and newer cards.
Basketball
This category is the smallest, as it features four packs ranging from $10 to $300. Some of the chasers include:
- 2025 Panini Prizm WNBA Color Blast Prizm Paige Bueckers #5 PSA 10
- 1996 Ultra Platinum Medallion Allen Iverson ROOKIE #P270 PSA 9 MINT
- 2003 Topps LeBron James #221 BGS 9.5 BGS 9.5
Just as with the other packs, you’ll find both vintage and newer cards and slabs.
Football
Here you have five packs to choose from that range from $10 to $800. The cards come from popular publishers such as Topps and Prizm. Some of the chasers we noted in the pack include:
- 2023 Panini Prizm Flashback Gold Joe Burrow /10 #PF3 PSA 10 GEM MINT.
- 2024 Topps Chrome Rookie Autograph Orange Refractor Bo Nix #RABNI 18/25 PSA 10
- 2000 Bowman Tom Brady #236 PSA 8
And many more, both new and vintage items across these mystery packs.
Marketplace (direct sales)
Instead of purchasing mystery packs to rip, there’s a store onsite where you can directly purchase cards and more. The inventory likely changes over time, but currently you can buy Pokémon, One Piece, and Football items. These items include graded cards, raw cards, booster packs, and sealed boxes.
Live rips
This section of the site says there are 10 trading card games (TCGs). These TCGs include Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, Flesh and Blood, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Weiss Schwarz, and Riftbound. All of these TCGs aren’t available yet on the site, but it does give us some insight into what may appear on The Collectibles in the near future.

The Collectibles payments and withdrawal options
Your payment options include Google Pay, Apple Pay, credit cards or debit cards. The card options include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You can choose from $50, $200 or $500 pre-selected funding amounts, or you may enter a custom amount. All payment types process instantly, and the funds should appear in your account within one minute.
This brand lets you withdraw any funds you’ve accumulated by selling cards back to the sale or through marketplace sales. You’ll need to complete the identity verification check before you complete your first withdrawal. You can either withdraw to your bank account or to a debit card. There is a withdrawal fee which you can review before you complete the withdrawal request. The site doesn’t publish their fee rates, so it may vary. Most withdrawals take four to seven days for the funds to reach your account.
Our only quibble here is the withdrawal fee, as many sites don’t charge fees. Some sites state that they reserve the right to charge a fee, even if they aren’t currently charging one. You can see an example of that inside our Slabz review.
Review of The Collectibles support: can you get the help you need?
There are two ways to get help on this site: contact support directly, or read the onsite help documentation.
Support documentation
Currently, there are only seven questions in the FAQ. However, don’t let that fool you, as you can get more information by tapping the support button in the bottom right of your screen, which lets you search through additional support articles. This is where you’ll find detailed information and a larger collection of topics as compared to the FAQ. This self-help documentation should help you answer basic questions related to buying packs, withdrawing funds, pack tiers, and so on.
Contact support
To get human help, the site says that the fastest way to reach support is via email. We did that, and received an answer in five hours. Note that the site says they usually answer in less than one business day, so our experience is right in line with that. We were pleased with the friendly and knowledgeable help we received, even if it took longer than we prefer. Another way to reach support is by tapping the support button in the bottom right of the screen and leaving a message. We didn’t try that method, since the site suggested that email was the fastest way to reach support.
Overall, we’re pleased with the amount of documentation available. We’d like to see live support available, which would make the support experience even better.

Player safety: Is The Collectibles site legit?
The answer is yes, this platform is legit. It’s operated by a company called Horde Inc. that’s registered in the state of Delaware. You can find the company’s filings online, plus they run their own website that talks about how they develop collectible card platforms. In addition, this brand’s terms are perhaps the most detailed that we’ve ever seen, and their policies and terms are compliant with the law. This is similar to what you may have read about in our Unbox.gg review.
We also checked on platform security. The site uses advanced encryption technology and possesses a valid security certificate to keep your data safe. The site partners with other reputable and secure companies, such as Stripe for payment processing.
We didn’t uncover anything concerning, as all signs point to this brand being secure and legit.
Wrapping up The Collectibles review: final verdict
This is a polished website with a fun spy theme that offers Pokémon, football, and basketball mystery packs. You can sell unwanted cards instantly for 85% of the card’s value. You can also have the site ship cards to you. These options are available for the free daily pack offer as well. Another benefit of using this platform is that you can purchase cards, slabs and more directly through the onsite marketplace.
The brand also offers livestreamers ripping cards, plus a scanner that tracks prices. This site is relatively new, but we’re already loving it. If they install live support and get usable apps off the ground, this will definitely top our list of favorite sites.
When you’re ready to jump in and join us on the site, all you have to do is tap The Collectibles banners on this page to get started. Your free pack bonus will be available to you just as soon as you join the site and log in for the first time!
