Acer Nitro 65 AMD Ryzen 7 8700F Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB Gaming PC (16GB/1TB)
The Acer Nitro 65 is equipped with an air-cooled AMD Ryzen 7 8700F CPU, Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The AMD Ryzen 7 8700F CPU is an 8-core, 16 thread processor with a max boost clock of 5GHz. It’s a good CPU for gaming because of its high clock speed. It only has eight cores, but that’s plenty for games since very few titles can benefit from more than eight or even six cores.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU is an excellent card for 1080p gaming
The Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card comes in two variants, with the only difference between the two being the amount of VRAM: 8GB or 16GB. Unlike the vast majority of prebuilts which are equipped with the 8GB model, this particular system is equipped with the 16GB model. If you can afford it, you should only get the 16GB model. Numerous outlets (including our own) have demonstrated that the performance gap between the 8GB and 16GB models is significant.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT is an excellent GPU for 1080p gaming. It performs within range of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. The 16GB of VRAM also allows this GPU to hold its own in 1440p gaming, especially if you don’t want to spend the extra hundreds of dollars more to upgrade to a more powerful card like the RX 9070 XT.
