Taylor Swift is probably used to receiving a lot of positive feedback. She’s one of the most popular and beloved pop stars in the world; however, when you’re at that level of fame, criticism likely hurts.
According to RadarOnline, Swift recently released her first new single since her wedding, “Patient Zero,” and she’s reportedly feeling a little sensitive about the response. “Taylor can feel the backlash,” aonstop attention – she’s genuinely anxious about how people will respond.”
Insiders say she’s still confident in her music, but she isn’t quite sure about the reaction these days. “Taylor used to feel untouchable,” thehis comeback matters.”
Swift is also in a new phase of her life, embracing married life with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. That comes with several changes, including finding a home base. She and Kelce recently bought a home together in Bratenahl, Ohio, but it’s not been easy.
The couple has been dealing with various issues that all homeowners know too well, most notably complicated neighbors. They reportedly wanted to add a six-foot fence and numerous trees around their property for privacy, but some neighbors have pushed back.
One particular resident, Katherine Bolton, apparently raised concerns about trees potentially being planted close to a century-old clay sewer pipe, which could have “catastrophic” consequences for her home.
According to Star, Swift and Kelce have tried to keep the peace. “The last thing they wanted was to have any sort of friction with their neighbors [and] have tried so hard to make sure people would be happy.” The outlet even reported that it includes covering some expenses that should be shared.
They’ve still faced plenty of backlash, which has left them “genuinely upset.” In fact, an insider told the outlet, “It’s hard to feel welcome when this sort of sentiment is being expressed in the community and by people living right next door.”
“But if it can’t be resolved and it turns out people are just intent on being hateful towards them, it’s conceivable that they’d give up and sell the place,” the insider stated.
Locals seem upset about some of the security features the couple has added, like an automated warning system that sends an alert when someone comes too close to the house.
“A neighbor approached the house and got a voice warning about not passing onto the property after getting too close to the house,” another resident explained.
