Nintendo of Europe confirmed on Nintendo said it will stop selling the original Nintendo Switch family to retailers across Europe starting in mid-February 2027. The cutoff covers three hardware models: the 2017 launch console, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED. Nintendo’s own online store pulls the hardware from sale on the same date.
A new limited-edition Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 console has reportedly leaked and is currently in the works. According to insiders, the special-edition hardware could launch alongside the rumored Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake later in 2026.
