The PlayStation Portal now allows owners to cloud stream purchased digital PS5 games without Remote Play. Some PS Plus Premium subscribers use the feature to avoid buying a console entirely. Unfortunately, likely due to a technical snafu, popular titles, including Ghost of Yōtei, became inaccessible.

Now available for testing, Asobi: Remote Play replicates most features of the PS Portal handheld. Although a Windows version is in the works, the Linux app is compatible with the Steam Deck and the Steam Machine. While PS Plus Premiumcloud streaming is an option, it also allows users to enjoy purchased PS5 games console-free.
