MUMBAI: Believe it! Naruto is gearing up for a double comeback, with creator Masashi Kishimoto returning to the drawing board for a new manga while the beloved ninja franchise teams up with Ninkū for a four-episode anime crossover.

NEW YORK – A major new global project centered on the popular Japanese anime franchise Naruto was announced at New York Comic Con 2026, one of the world’s largest pop culture events, with plans for an entirely new anime production and a new manga series written by original creator Masashi Kishimoto.

Masashi Kishimoto has a new Naruto manga in the works, and Team 7 will return in a four-episode crossover anime with Ninkū. Both projects were unveiled at the Naruto panel at New York Comic Con on 10 October, with more manga details due at Jump Festa in December.

A newNarutomanga, set between the end of the original manga and the beginning ofBoruto, was announced last night at New York Comic Con 2026. A four-partNarutospin-off anime was also announced, but don’t get too excited on that front before you hear all the details.

Hope you like Naruto, because you’re getting plenty of it before the 2020s are over. At New York Comic-Con, a panel for the franchise unveiled what’s next for the shonen hero on both the page and small screen.
