Disney+ greenlights new romantic comedy from Element Pictures and Sinestra – Señal News

Disney+ has greenlit a new series, currently under the working title Mad Love, created by playwright Kate Cortesi, with Element Pictures and Sinestra on board as producers.

The video game franchise gets the animation adaptation treatment for Disney Channel and Disney+, developed in partnership with the game’s creator Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix.

Hulu has given the green light to three extended-length episodes of Futurama, which are currently in production, it was revealed during the series’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. The first of the “XXXL-sized” specials will be Christmas themed and is expected to launch in 2027.
