Doomquest #3 finds Doctor Doom inhabiting a new body during the Revolutionary War, armed with futuristic weapons and very grand ambitions for America.

Doctor Doom is Marvel’s greatest comic book supervillain – potentially, depending on who you ask, their greatest character full-stop – and yet, if you took a look back on the past 20-or-so years of the House of Ideas’ on-screen history, you wouldn’t really know it.

During a recent livestream to mark the launch ofDoom: The Dark AgesexpansionRevelations, id Software co-director Hugo Martin denied the studio has been left on life support following the latest round of mass layoff at Xbox.
