The fearful rumors about Dolly Parton’s health in the last year have, apparently, been well founded, and the American music legend and pop culture icon has passed.

Just days beforethe country music legend died at age 80, she had detailedthe“hard times” with her health following several cancelled appearances and shows. 

Days before the country icon’s family confirmed she had died Aug. 25 at age 80, she was hospitalized, multiple outlets confirmed.
