Disney has announced that the video game series “Kingdom Hearts” is becoming an anime TV series.

Disney announced at D23 that aKingdom Hearts TV series is coming to Disney+ and Disney Channel, bringing the fan-favorite world created by Disney and Square Enix to the small screen with an original anime story.

The second season of Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars” series “Ahsoka” will premiere Jan. 20, 2027, exclusively on Disney+. The announcement came Aug. 14 during the Disney Entertainment Showcase at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., as part of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
