Blizzard confirmed an animated Diablo series is officially in development at Netflix, ending nearly eight years of circling rumors and one collapsed earlier attempt. Blizzard president Johanna Faries delivered the news during BlizzCon 2026’s Opening Ceremony, the same event where the studio revealed Diablo V’s first three playable classes.
