Coyote vs. Acme, a live-action/animated legal comedy, is now in theaters. If you’re familiar with 1988’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit, this film is like that, but instead of Judge Doom trying to end the lives of your beloved ‘toons, it’s the actual legal system raining down on Looney Tunes star Wile E. SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The live-action Looney Tunes film from DC Studios’ James Gunn that almost didn’t happen is finally getting ready to hit theaters a year after the cast and filmmaking team announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 that the previously shelved film was given a new life thanks to Ketchup Entertainment.

If there was one movie that delivered pure Looney Tunes energy throughout San Diego Comic-Con, it was Coyote vs. Acme. From surprise appearances and exclusive footage to unforgettable fan moments, the highly anticipated film made sure everyone at SDCC knew one thing—Wile E. Coyote is finally ready for revenge.
