Being on the front page shelf might mean you experience more traffic than usual in your streams. To keep yourself and your community safe in the instance of an influx of new viewers, we recommend the following safety settings:

• AutoMod set to Level 2
• Email and phone chat verification turned on
• Followers only mode for at least 10 minutes
• Shield Mode setup (activate only when needed)

Please review your Content Classification Labels to disclose the content you’re streaming. You can find this setting in your “Edit Stream Info” page. You will still appear on the Recommendation Shelf – however remember, there are some categories and content we do not show on the Recommendation Shelf such as Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches & Gambling.

Check out the Twitch Safety Center to learn more about how to keep your stream safe through community guidelines, reporting, moderation, and other information you may be interested in.
