Stellar Blade will let players turn off frame generation on Nintendo Switch 2

According to Shift Up, when Stellar Blade launches on Nintendo Switch 2, the full game will include a toggle for frame generation, allowing players to turn it on and off at will. News about the planned functionality was shared on social media.
A few days ago, the game received a demo on Nintendo Switch 2. Shift Up has been monitoring feedback since then and felt that a toggle is something that fans would appreciate.
If it’s turned off, that could help reduce input lag and graphical issues like excess artifacts. Some fans who tried out the demo felt that these issues are impacting the Nintendo Switch 2 version. If frame generation is turned off, that could make the gameplay feel a bit better.
With frame generation, Stellar Blade looks to target 60 frames per second. If it’s off, frame rate will be lower, though the tradeoff could be worth it.
