Robert Gonzalez showcased the vehicle at Fan Expo Anaheim, where attendees stopped to admire the themed car, which began as a 2023 Dodge Challenger.
Gonzalez said he has been a fan of the franchise since the original “Star Wars” film debuted in 1977 and became especially attached to Boba Fett after seeing the character in The Empire Strikes Back.
“I’ve been a fan of ‘Star Wars’ since ’77 when it all started out. As soon as ‘Empire Strikes Back’ came out, saw ‘Boba Fett’ and I was hooked,” Gonzalez said.
He said it took about three months to complete the project. The car features Boba Fett helmets, artwork purchased from convention vendors, replica blasters and an autographed blaster signed by actor Daniel Logan, who portrayed the young Boba Fett in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
Gonzalez said the customized vehicle regularly attracts attention on the road, with drivers often photographing it and following his Instagram account after spotting it on local freeways.
