The Smart Division – Issue #1
FBI in it’s newest form fighting AI crimes and criminals who know the old ways of the FBI a little too well. When you place an older veteran of the force with a plucky and a little chaotic younger agent, you get The Smart Division.
The art is absolutely my favorite part of this series. From the text bubble styles to the colors tones, this feels extremely noir while also bringing a new flair to the genre. The first issue is a slow burn, but it sets up for, what should be, an interesting story!

The art is fabulous and there is always something interesting to look at in the foreground and background. You’ll see characters from both Witchfinder and The British Paranormal Society. So if you’ve read those books, be sure to pick up The Foundry!

Star Wars: The Fall Of Kylo Ren – Issue #1
Charles Soule does it again and makes Kylo Ren interesting outside of his relationship to Rey. After his insane journey through Anakin Skywalker’s past in the last series, The Fall of Kylo Ren takes place in between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker explaining a little more about how our Supreme Leader ended up as he was when we see him at the start of the movie.
The artwork for this series has been amazing, using a mixture of the early Disney Marvel Star Wars run with the newer runs of Darth Vader. If you’re a fan of the sequels looking for a book that can bring it all together, this is another addition to the collection!

This has to be one of the coolest journey’s of all time. Getting a chance to see so many behind the scenes stills of one of cinema’s greatest hits!

Conan the Barbarian – Issue #33
Conan the Barbarian #33 sees the Cimmerian trade the battlefield for the open sea as he embraces a life of piracy with the Red Brotherhood. With interesting side characters, plenty of action balanced well with moments of levity, and a still unknown supernatural threat looming on the horizon, the issue is an exciting start to what looks to be a fantastic new arc for the character.
