The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You just wrapped its third season and has left viewers with many unresolved questions. To date, Rentaro has seen seventeen of the hundred potential romantic partners he is supposed to meet, showing that a lot is still to come in the adventure.

Yes,The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love Youshould be renewed for season 4. However, no announcements about a new season are available yet. There are a lot of reasons to believe that it is only a matter of time. The publishing of theh material to keep the project alive

The final episode of season 3 aired on September 20, 2026, marking the end of its run. While other production houses sometimes announce a new season simultaneously with the end of the previous one, this is not what happened at Bibury Animation Studios, which leaves us without a definite timeline for now.

This, however, isn’t uncommon for this franchise. Between season 1 and 2, there was a gap of more than 1 year, and the gap between season 2 and season 3 was longer still. Therefore, an announcement of season 4 can be expected anytime soon, depending on how well the previous season sells itself.

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You has been published weekly in Weekly Young Jump since December 2019. By <a href="https://comicvibe.com/build-the-pyramid-codes-september-2026/" title="Build The Pyramid Codes (September 2026)”>September 2026, it had accumulated 26 volumes and more than 240 chapters, with new releases every week.

This matters because the anime has only featured a small portion of Rentaro’s many future girlfriends, meaning that the manga has plenty of unadapted material to create several seasons’ worth of content. If a fourth season were to occur, there would be more than enough to work with.

Online theories point to a possible endpoint

A theory that emerged during the third season suggests that the anime could be nearing the end with around 25 girlfriends instead of reaching all 100 of them. The argument is based on promotional images from previous seasons that seem to feature girlfriends yet to be introduced, as opposed to the already existing characters.

Other readers refuted this claim by suggesting that every poster simply depicted the number of girlfriends considered in the manga at the time of its creation. Regardless of the veracity of these statements, it’s clear that people would like to have additional episodes of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You.

What a season 4 renewal would realistically need

A fourth season may be possible if all the same conditions that were met in the production of the first three seasons come through once again with healthy sales of the manga, good viewing figures for the anime on Crunchyroll, and the support of Shueisha in funding new episodes.

That said, nothing indicates that the franchise is slowing down. The show’s creative team, including Hikaru Sato as a director and Akane Yano as a character designer, has remained the same throughout all the seasons, which can be taken as confirmation that the creative team is ready to continue its work in the future. Until Bibury or Shueisha confirms otherwise, The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You looks set to come back for more.
