Shanna Moakler isn’t feeling her ex-husband Travis Barker‘s documentary.
Nealy one month after the release of Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, the former pageant queen shared her regret in participating in the project.
“I wish I didn’t do it,” Moakler confessed on the Sept. 10 episode of iHeartRadio’s I Do, Part 2podcast. “I knew in my heart I wasn’t going to be portrayed the way that I felt I deserved.”
While the 51-year-old has not watched the final cut of the Hulu doc—which included appearances from her kids Alabama Barker, 20, Landon Barker, 22, and Atiana De La Hoya, 27, as well as Barker’s wife Kourtney Kardashian—she believes it roughly covers the same ground as what the Blink-182 drummer detailed in his 2015 memoir Can I Say.
“I regretted being a part of that book,” Moakler shared. “I didn’t like how I was edited or portrayed in that book. It was really, really hurtful.”

As such, Moakler admittedly has no idea “how he got me to go and do this documentary,” which was filmed over the course of nine years.
“I think it was before he was with his wife,” the Meet the Barkers alum continued. “I’m a little disappointed with myself for participating.”
During her interview in the documentary, Moakler recounted her first meeting with Barker in 2002 following his breakup from his first wifeMelissa Kennedy, as well as his struggles with addiction during their relationship.
“He told me, ‘You know, I take about 20 to 30 pills a day sometimes,'” Moakler shared in the film. “And that just was like, ‘How are you alive right now?'”
Barker, now 50, and Moakler finalized their divorce in 2008 after nearly four years of marriage. In his documentary, the musician credited his hectic work schedule as one of the reasons for their split.
“Balancing home life and touring, our relationship was getting more and more challenging,” Barker recalled. “Divorce came soon after.”
As for how he and Kardashian, 47, ended up together? Barker was friends with the reality star—who shares kids Mason Disick, 16, Penelope Disick, 13, Reign Disick, 11, with ex Scott Disick—for years before taking their relationship to the next level.
“I always thought to myself, ‘If this happens, it’s going to be bigger than we could ever imagine,'” Barker added in the doc. “Just by looking into her eyes, I knew she was the one.”
