Kim Kardashian dons daring ensemble at 46th birthday dinner while brother Rob makes rare public appearance

A surprise attendee to Kim Kardashian’s 46th birthday party took eyes away from who wasn’t there.

Kim Kardashian has hosted an intimate family dinner in Los Angeles to celebrate her 46th birthday in style.

Kim was seen celebrating at the ritzy Beverly Hills restaurant Baldi in a scaled-back event compared to the high-profile soirees the family is known for.

The pop culture icon was spotted with a few close friends and a handful of her famous family members including sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, half-sister Kylie Jenner, and “momager” Kris Jenner.

Model sister Kendall Jenner was not pictured in attendance.

Kim’s younger brother Rob Kardashian also made a rare public appearance after keeping a low profile for the past decade since stepping back from filming the family’s famous reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

The siblings were seen entering the restaurant in a series of dazzling looks, the birthday girl marking the occasion in an archival chainmail mini-dress and elaborate jewelled headpiece.

The plunging emerald green dress was straight from the archives of Paco Rabanne and designed to look like a robe, with the only point of closure at the waist in an underwear-exposing look.

Kim seemingly found the time for an outfit change during the dinner, leaving Baldi in a ruby red version of the same look, completed with the matching bejewelled headpiece.

She paired both looks with a pair of black mule heels.

Business mogul Kylie Jenner joined the celebrations in a blue bodycon dress with cream-coloured lace trim.

Kourtney opted for a chocolate brown feathered mini dress, Khloe showed off a bodysuit under a sheer maxi dress, and Kris was eye-catching in a yellow coat, embellished with florals and feather trim.

Aloof Rob went casual in all-black and a matching baseball cap.

Kim shared a carousel of snaps from the night including images of herself blowing out candles on a raspberry-covered cake.

Khloe posted a sentimental homage to her sister in honour of her birthday, dubbing Kim “my best friend”.

Kim’s new beau, British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, was notably missing from the event as he prepares for the upcoming US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
